Work in Uganda
We work closely with former Ugandan child soldiers, kids who have gone through inconceivable torture and brutality in their lives. We provided funds to start a fish and poultry farm at a cost of over $10,000. The children work the farms and sell meat to the local markets, forming a self-sustaining ecosystem.
"Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime." - Maimonides
Construction of the first fish farm begins in Uganda.
